Real Stories from Our Adventurers
Tracey JonesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Loved it!! First time to Belize and first time fishing! Joel is an excellent teacher and brilliant chef. We had such a wonderful day. Evan was also excellent helping us cast and bait. The place we stopped out to eat our cooked lunch was like something out of a movie. Next time we'll add snorkeling! Tyler GoetzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Joel and his son are awesome. One of the best charters I have done and I have used charters over a dozen times in Belize alone!! When first asked about his services he did not try to pressure us to use him, and his all day fish, snorkel and cook trip was great for a mixed group when just fishing isn’t what ya need!! Been fishing ambergris caye and caye caulker since 2009, I highly recommend you give Joel a call!! He doesn’t rush or pressure you on time and activity and goes the extra mile. You can tell this is his passion and it truly shows. Don’t pass this charter up! I’m just a guy from Utah but have been on over 2 dozen charters from Mexico, Dominican, Canada, Alaska and stateside . This guy is worth the price! Eric MurryTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Joel and Francisco are the best! They made our fishing experience easy and fun! Ceviche and BBQ was perfect! Playing with the stingrays while they massage your feet was so cool! Definitely coming back next year! Thank you! Big E Antonio BertiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We just finished an amazing day with Joel and Francisco. Reef fishing (snapper and mackerel ), followed by some snorkeling (where we got conch and a lobster). Then a delicious fresh cooked bbq lunch. After was some deep sea fishing where enough fish were caught that we have dinner for tonight. Joel was the filleting master and Francisco cleaned the conch for us. Overall the day was light and fun and we learned a lot about catching reef and deep water fish. Can’t recommend Belize Candace Fish and Reef Tours enough. Thanks for a great day! Phyllis RogersTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a wonderful day of fishing with Captain Mundo & Rudy. I would highly recommend Belize Candace Fish & Reef Tours. Over & above our expectations. So accommodating to our every need. They even let us bring our pup! They served a superb beach lunch of ceviche, grilled jerk fish, grilled veggies & watermelon. Thank you for a incredibly fun time. Eddie HansenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is a must do if you are looking for something a little more than just fishing. They are wonderful guides and the lobster hunting blew my kids 16,18,20 minds. The hit of the vacation. Stop looking and book it! Susan KeefeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Captain Joel and Louis were both amazing fishermen. They made this experience very educational and they are out to CATCH fish!!! Louis was so attentive the whole trip making sure we have snacks and drinks. He goes above and beyond. Captain Joel doesn’t mess around and he helps you to catch fish! When we arrived in the am; the boat is all ready to go. They maximize the hours fishing vs wasting time on water. As someone who has been fishing for years, I cannot recommend this group more. You won’t regret it!!!! Nicole RobertsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was the best fishing trip. Joel and Mundo are the best guides. The bbq on the beach was hands down the best food we had on the island!!! A must do!!! Will McHughTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What an amazing experience! Highlight of the whole trip to Belize! Guides were great! They were very helpful at explaining everything, clearly experienced, but also accommodating/flexible to what we wanted out of the trip! Watching them free dive down 50ft to go spear my fish that was stuck was so cool and greatly appreciated. In addition they were just nice and fun people to spend a day with! And great cooks! Would 100% recommend and do again! Zack WimpsettTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have been fishing with Joel for many years. Every time we visit Belize with new friends, Joel and his crew always make it a memorable experience.
